Welcome to my little business! Im Stacey, owner of Stace Makes. Based in Aberdeenshire, my business started not long after my neice was born in 2019. What started as a hobby, soon transformed into my passion, and before I knew it I was a small business.

A little history.... I got my first sewing machine from my parents, for my birthday, 8 years ago. I taught myself and mainly did little projects, such as name banners. Never did I think I would ever manage to make clothes!! This then lead to the fabric addiction! What started as a tiny collection of 3-4 choices, turned into A LOT more! I just love to buy fabric! I love funky designs. I then realised I could buy fabric designs to print on any fabric base.

All of the fabric designs listed in my gallery are designs I have purchased exclusively for Stace Makes. Some are available elsewhere but the majority are exclusive colourways to my business. There are so many talented designers out there and I love to support them. If you have an idea of a fabric print or theme you would like to see in my collection, I am always willing to try and find a design to suit. Buying actual fabric designs mean I can print them on different fabric bases such as, jersey, sweater, waterproof canvas, etc, to suit different products.

I run Stace Makes from the comfort of my own home, having transformed the spare room into my sewing room. All items are made in a pet free/smoke free home. Aswell as sewing, I also offer an embroidery service. I can not only personalise items, but I can embroider your business logos, and other designs onto different items. I have a wide range of embroidery designs available for making products such as santa sacks, book pillows, boxy bags, aprons, and more. TURNAROUND TIMES - IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ - My turnaround time is usually 4-5 weeks, depending on order size and if the fabric is in stock. If your order is required before this, please check with myself before you order. I try my best to get orders out as soon as I can but because I work full time, I do all of my orders in evenings and weekends. Please note, turnaround times may change at different times of the year.

EVENTS AND MARKETS

I also regularly attend local markets and fairs throughout the year, and leading up to the festive period. I attend 2-3 of the monthly markets at The Foggie Neuk in Aberchirder. These are always fab. Keep an eye on my socials for upcoming dates. I have twice hosted my very own pop up shop in Keith, Moray. I hope to do more of these, and hopefully in some new areas too. Its a great way to promote my makes and meet new customers.
